Care includes the management of heart failure, COPD, infections, gastrointestinal disorders, and other complex health issues, along with specialized services in cardiac/post-catheterization, renal, respiratory, vascular, diabetes, wound, and ostomy care. Two of the wings feature private rooms and blends elements of both complex care and medical-surgical environments, enabling them to meet diverse patient needs while maintaining a strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. As a Registered Nurse on this team, you will work collaboratively with the healthcare team while engaging patients, families, and visitors to provide education, support, and compassionate, empathetic care aimed at improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience. This role also offers the opportunity to float across all three units, providing valuable knowledge and hands-on experience with a diverse patient population. How You'll Benefit Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts. You must work 48 hours within a six-week period. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) External candidates: two years of recent related nursing experience Internal candidates with less than two years of experience, but are post-orientation/90-day probationary period, may be considered with CNO level review and approval Licensed military RN experience will be considered Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Pay Range Minimum hourly:

$43.00 Maximum hourly: $43.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
