Qualifications & Experience:

Valid RN license, in good standing Minimum of one year of recent operating room (OR) nursing experience BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Proficient in scrubbing and circulating duties Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail

Schedule/Hours:

Flexible scheduling based on facility needs Rotating shifts may include days, evenings, nights, and/or weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in patient preparation, surgical procedures, and postoperative care in the operating room Monitor patient vital signs, document care, and maintain safety throughout procedures Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure adherence to sterile techniques and protocols Provide support with surgical instruments and supplies, anticipating the needs of surgeons and staff Educate patients and families about preoperative and postoperative procedures as needed Ensure accurate and timely charting of patient information
