This contract position offers an opportunity for an RN or highly experienced LPN/LVN to work one-on-one, ensuring continuous health and safety throughout the school dayincluding accompanying the student during transport to and from school.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license preferred; experienced LPN/LVN candidates will be considered Prior experience in pediatric or school nursing settings highly desirable Proficient in tracheostomy, ventilator, and G-tube care and management Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the unique needs of a medically fragile student Adaptability to dynamic school and transportation environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide vigilant, personalized care throughout the school day and while riding on school transportation with the student Monitor, assess, and address the students trach, vent, and G-tube needs with expertise and confidence Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and healthcare teams to support optimal well-being Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively regarding the childs health status Respond quickly and appropriately to any medical incidents or emergencies This unique part-time role lets you make a significant difference in one child's lifewhile building meaningful relationships within the school community.
