Duties :
Duties include but are limited to: administering injections and medications and maintains appropriate records, drawing blood, carrying out treatments as ordered by physician, orders medication and maintains inventory, maintains inmate medical records, coordinates medical appointments, coordinates special diets with kitchen staff and any other duties assigned by supervisory staff.

Summary:
This employment classification identifies immediate and potential medical health problems through physical assessment and screening of medical complaints and presents to the physician those inmates who require further diagnosis and therapeutic procedures.
Job Prerequisites:
Minimum Qualifications:
LPN candidates must have graduated from an approved LPN school and six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. RN candidates must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree form a two year college or technical school and six months related experience and/or training or a combination of education and experience.

Starting salary $26.94/hour
