OR Registered Nurse

Qualifications:

Current and valid RN license Minimum 1 year of recent circulator experience in an Operating Room setting BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and safe patient positioning Comfort with the full perioperative workflow Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Adaptability to new technologies and electronic health records

Responsibilities:

Circulate in the OR, ensuring the surgical team and patient have the support needed for optimal outcomes Monitor patient safety and respond swiftly to changes in condition Prepare and organize surgical instruments and materials for procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists Document all aspects of patient care accurately and efficiently Adhere to infection control, safety measures, and clinical guidelines Participate in pre- and post-operative assessments as needed
