Located in South Euclid, Senders Pediatrics provides care to over 10,000 patients from ages 0-26 years young. Our team is grateful for the trust placed in us by our families and we strive to be an invaluable resource and trusted partner throughout our patients' lives. As a valued member of our clinical team, the RN will provide direct patient care, support families, and ensure seamless coordination of pediatric health services. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, including patient assessments, immunizations, telephone triage, and prescription management. Essential Functions include, but not limited to: Provide direct patient care during office visits, including vital signs, patient assessments, and documentation Administer injections and vaccines in accordance with organization's Standards of Practice Perform blood draws and process specimens per practice protocols Respond to prescription refill requests and prior authorizations Offer phone-based nursing advice and patient education Multitask and manage workflows to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner Update patient EMRs in an accurate and timely manner Collaborate with providers on care coordination and follow-up needs Assist with chronic care management and health maintenance reminders Support clinical workflows to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patients and families
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in nursing 1-3 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient, ED or Urgent Care setting Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task Compassionate with good communication skills Excellent teamwork skills
Our Hours and Expectations:
We are open 7 days a week. We serve patients Mondays and Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:30am-7:30pm, Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays 9:00am -12:00pm. Shifts start approximately 15-30 minutes prior to patient care hours and 15-30 minutes after. A typical schedule includes one (1) late night per week (Tues or Wed) and rotational weekends. Hours per week are 36 hours (four (9) hour shifts. Weekend shifts are 4 hours when scheduled.
