Job Description

Public Health Education Position Part Time -Administration Applications are being accepted for a part-time Community Health Promotion Coordinator. Hours will be 20-28 hrs week, but flexibility is required. This position is responsible for developing and coordinating community outreach, public health education, communication and engagement initiatives for the Wayne County Health Department. This position supports accreditation efforts, quality improvement projects, public information, and community health initiatives through collaboration with leadership, community partners, and the public. This position serves as a liaison between the Health Department, community partners, and the public by promoting programs and educating the public on health topics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in public health, health education, nursing or related field is preferred. Knowledge of program planning and evaluation are required. Knowledge of public health accreditation requirements for local health departments preferred.
