Mercy is seeking a dedicated RN to join our Med Surg team full time on nights at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher. In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive medical-surgical care, performing assessments, administering medications, managing IVs, and monitoring patient status. You will coordinate care plans, provide patient and family education, and ensure accurate EMR documentation. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse adult patient population on the night shift. Perform and document thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, pain, and condition changes. Administer medications and manage IV therapies safely, following hospital policies and protocols. Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the care team. Monitor patient status, respond promptly to changes, and escalate concerns to providers as needed. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions. Document all care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the EMR. Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate high-quality care. Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards, participating in unit-based initiatives. Support a compassionate, patient-centered environment aligned with Mercy's mission and values.
