  • Operating Room Job Details:
  • 2 years of nursing experience required (strictly enforced)
  • Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license required
  • BSN preferred
  • Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services
  • Provide care for all patient populations including pediatric and geriatric patients
  • Act as patient advocate and maintain surgical standards of nursing practice
  • Maintain skills in setting priorities and organizing workload effectively
  • Handle changes in assignment and integrate multiple assignments with multilevel personnel
  • Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of sterile technique required
  • Commitment to team concept and strong task commitment essential
  • Develop and implement total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans
  • Participate in age-specific care and interaction implementation
  • Complete departmental orientation and training
  • Collaborate with healthcare team including RN, LPN, NA, physicians and ancillary disciplines
  • Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy
  • Assess and reassess pain using appropriate pain management techniques
