Meditech May float to rehab unit depending on census Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients in the Med Surg unit, including assessments and ongoing monitoring Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; review and verify prescriptions Document care and updates in Meditech EMR, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Monitor patient status, vital signs, and respond to changes with appropriate interventions Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and patient education Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards; assist with mobility and activities of daily living Participate in unit coverage with staffing ratios (
RN:
