JOB:
1. Provide quality patient care to all patients. 2. Responsible for gathering and preparing supplies/equipment for surgical cases. 3. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment according to Surgical Standards. 4. Assist surgeon and anesthesiologist with patient preparation and provide peri-operative care as indicated by procedure. 5. Accurately records procedure in EMR system and performance of surgical interventions. 6. Alert to/identifies breaks in aseptic technique to prevent contamination of surgical wound, supplies, instruments and personnel. 7. At the conclusion of surgical procedures, assist with transportation of the patient to
PACU. SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies for surgery preparation/procedure. 2. Excellent organizational skills. 3. Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile technique. 4. Ability to communicate well with suppliers, staff members, physicians, etc. 5. Render professional quality care to all patients •Pay based on years experience.
