Responsibilities include:
assessing patients pre- and post-operatively, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring recovery, administering medications, documenting conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality care. The role involves operating specialized equipment, responding to emergencies, and providing patient and family education.
Qualifications:
at least one year of recent Pre/Post-Op RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include ACLS and PALS.
Skills required:
critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment and patient movement, interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
