A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Schedule:
Days, Nights, Weekends, and/or Weekday shifts available, as-needed | This position will float between 24-hour units and various clinics on an as-needed basis |Pay:
Hourly, starting between $29 - $32 per hour, depending on experience. Shift differential will apply to night and weekend shifts Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Nurse Staff RN renders professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients. You will provide for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments, and documenting progress and other observations. You will report to the Manager.Primary Tasks:
1. Provide direct patient assessment and planning for individualized patient care. 2. Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's condition. 3. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. 4. Formulate individualized plan of care. 5. Revise individualized plan of care as indicated by the patient's response to treatment; evaluate overall plan for effectiveness daily. 6. Evaluate discharge needs and coordinate with multi-health care disciplines in planning for care after discharge. 7. Assess pain management techniques and educate the patient and family regarding pain management. 8. Identify and address psychosocial needs of patient and family. 9. Administer drugs, blood, and solutions according to medical and surgical policies and protocols. 10. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.Required Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in nursing
- Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing (or Multi-State Nursing License) Current CPR certification required Good customer service skills General computer and office skillsProvide direct patient, assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
