Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) to join our healthcare team in Bartow, FL. The OR RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and sterile surgical environment.standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process. Prepare patients for surgical procedures and verify required documentation. Assist with surgical procedures as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, based on experience and facility requirements. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures. Maintain strict sterile technique and infection-control standards. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and properly prepared. Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately. Monitor and respond to changes in the patient's condition. Provide post-operative care and appropriate patient education. Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Active RN license required . Minimum 2 year of operating room experience required. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. COVID card (Medical/Religious exemptions are accepted)
