Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license, eligible to practice in Oregon Certification as RN First Assist (RNFA) required Previous experience in perioperative/operating room settings Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong assessment, surgical assisting, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct assistance to surgeons during operative procedures Oversee preoperative and postoperative patient care, ensuring seamless transitions Implement and maintain sterile environments, adhering strictly to safety protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Serve as an educational resource for surgical staff as needed Document interventions and patient responses accurately in the medical record
