This part-time position offers the flexibility to tailor your schedule in collaboration with the district, making it easier to balance work and personal commitments. You'll be based in a health office environment, providing a critical role in safeguarding the health and well-being of students while traveling between several school sites near Pendleton, OR. Your expertise in pediatric and school nursing will contribute to such essential services as daily care, emergency response, medication administration, and health education for students across grade levels. Desired Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with active licensure in Oregon Experience in pediatric or school nursing settings Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Capability to function independently while maintaining collaboration across multiple campuses Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate student health needs for a K-12th grade population Provide daily care, medication administration, and hands-on support in school health offices Respond efficiently to health emergencies and student injuries Maintain accurate health records and comply with district/state policies Promote health education and wellness among students and staff
