Job Description

Join Ro Health as a School Health professional supporting student well-being in educational settings. In this role, you'll deliver direct health services, manage chronic conditions, administer medications, and respond to school health needs while collaborating with teachers, families, and providers. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver school-based health services to students in partnership with district staff Provide basic assessments, first aid, chronic disease management, and medication administration per care plans Document care accurately in compliance with school, state, and Ro Health policies Communicate with parents, school personnel, and healthcare providers to support student health needs Support IEP/504 health components and participate in care planning as needed Promote health education, prevention, and wellness within the school community Uphold safety, infection control, and emergency response protocols on campus Collaborate with Ro Health recruiters and clinical leaders to ensure consistent, reliable coverage Required Skills Pediatric nursing or school health care Vital signs monitoring and basic assessments Medication administration and documentation Care planning for chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures) Electronic health record or clinical documentation systems Emergency response and first aid Infection control and safety protocols Health education and counseling for students and families Interdisciplinary communication with schools and providers Regulatory compliance with school and state health guidelines
