Responsibilities Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center 7300 SW Childs Rd, Suite A Portland, OR 97224 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our growing surgical team. The OR Nurse will provide direct perioperative patient care, collaborate with physicians and surgical staff, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality throughout the surgical experience. Specialties Supported Our center performs procedures across multiple specialties, including: General Surgery Orthopedic Surgery Spine Surgery Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Ophthalmology Plastic Surgery Podiatry Pain Management Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Otology/Neurotology Anesthesiology Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the perioperative setting. Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and surgical instruments. Serve as a circulating and/or scrub nurse during surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure positive patient outcomes. Monitor patient status and maintain patient safety throughout the surgical process. Ensure compliance with infection control standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification upon hire. Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification upon hire. Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment, when pediatric care is included in the facility's scope of services, or current PALS certification upon hire. Preferred One year of Operating Room and/or Medical-Surgical nursing experience. Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR). Previous Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience. USD $45.00/Hr. USD $56.00/Hr.
Qualifications:
