Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings, utilizing your extensive nursing expertise to promote health, prevent illness, and support recovery. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform personalized care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and medication management. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for precise medical documentation and charting. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques with precision and aseptic technique. Monitor patient status continuously in acute care environments like ICU or trauma centers, responding swiftly to critical changes using critical care response procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings—including hospital medicine, emergency room, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, hospice & palliative medicine—to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families on health management strategies, including pain management, memory care, behavioral health support, and discharge planning. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of all medical records and sensitive information. Skills Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation and data management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal care (neonatal ventilator), and individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Skilled in advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion/injection administration, ventilator management, dialysis support, ostomy care, and infectious disease control. Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers; familiarity with trauma medicine and emergency response protocols. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations like sonography or laboratory specimen collection/processing efficiently. Knowledge of pain management techniques including acute pain management strategies and botulinum toxin treatment options when applicable. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments in urgent care or occupational health settings; capable of providing health coaching and case management services. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within hospital settings or home & community care environments while adhering to HIPAA standards.
