Registered Nurse - Cardiology Services

Cardiology, Interventional Radiology (IR),
General Radiology, Work Hours:
FT position Monday-Friday 8hrs/day and on call for after hours, weekends and holiday (starting Nov). RN will be trained to rotate in all positions. Needs to be very flexible with scheduling to meet patient scheduling and departmental needs. Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support Advanced Cardiac Life Support Based on operational needs, on-call and late shifts may be required Two years current Cardiology/ Interventional Radiology Experience. In the absence of applicants with two years current Cardiology/ IR experience, will accept two years Critical Care or current ED experience. In the absence Critical Care and ED experience we will accept Cardiopulmonary experience of 5 years or more. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Certification in the posted specialty area. In the absence of qualified candidates in the above referenced areas, will consider applicants with Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Applicable training and orientation will be provided.
