Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful part-time contract role supporting student health in a school setting. A skilled Registered Nurse is needed immediately for a school-based position just outside Chester, PA. In this impactful role, you'll work 8 hours each week, providing care and guidance that students need to thrive. The assignment spans from September 2026 to June 2027, with workdays running from 7:35 am to 3:15 pm.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current RN license in Pennsylvania School Nurse (CSN) certification strongly preferred—candidates with a CSN will distinguish themselves Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing Strong assessment and communication skills Compassion and professionalism when supporting students, faculty, and families Ability to manage confidential information and medical records
Primary Responsibilities:
Address immediate and daily student health needs, including medication administration, chronic disease management, and emergency response Collaborate with staff and family members to develop or update health plans Conduct health screenings and provide health education as needed Maintain accurate documentation of services, interventions, and medical records in compliance with school policies and legal guidance Serve as a reliable healthcare resource and advocate within the school community Make a real difference on a schedule that fits your life.
