Job Description

OneStaff Medical seeks a Travel Registered Nurse RN Cath Lab to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this dynamic travel role, you'll provide specialized nursing care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, including assessment, monitoring, sedation, and recovery. You'll collaborate closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Monitor hemodynamic status, ECG, and patient response before, during, and after procedures Administer and monitor moderate sedation per protocol and physician orders Assist physicians with Cath Lab procedures, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards Manage vascular access sites and post-procedure recovery, identifying and responding to complications Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines Adapt quickly to new facilities and workflows as a travel RN, demonstrating professionalism and integrity Required Skills Cardiac catheterization procedures Hemodynamic monitoring Moderate sedation administration and monitoring ECG interpretation Vascular access management Radiation safety Critical care nursing Emergency response in Cath Lab Patient assessment and education Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
