RN/LPN Private Duty Nurse - Danielsville, PA Tuesday through Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Pediatric School and Home Case Extended Family Care is a leading in-home healthcare service provider offering competitive salary and benefits, a team incentive bonus, great co-workers, and a respectful work environment where employees are appreciated. We are seeking a caring and reliable Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a private duty pediatric case in Danielsville, PA . This case involves care for a 7-year-old patient with trach and ventilator needs . The nurse will provide care both at school and at home . The home has cats and dogs and is a non-smoking environment . Schedule Tuesday through Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Responsibilities Our nurses provide direct patient care, support patient and family needs, evaluate care plans, and communicate with physicians and other caregivers as needed.
Essential duties include:
Obtaining patient medical history related to the patient's current condition Performing physical assessments Evaluating patient needs, family dynamics, and home environment Determining the type and frequency of care needed Following physician orders and the patient's plan of care Evaluating the effectiveness of the care plan and recommending revisions as needed Reporting changes in condition or service needs to the physician Coordinating care with other caregivers Performing other assigned nursing duties Qualifications Current RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania Pediatric nursing experience preferred Trach and ventilator experience preferred Comfortable working in both school and home settings Dependable, compassionate, and professional Extended Family Care welcomes nurses seeking meaningful part-time or full-time opportunities.
