Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients receiving telemetry care. Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status. Identify and respond to abnormal cardiac rhythms and changes in condition. Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments. Provide care for cardiac, medical-surgical, and acute-care patients. Assist with cardiac procedures and other clinical interventions. Educate patients and families on treatments and care plans. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Follow infection control, safety, and patient-care standards. Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Previous telemetry, cardiac, Med-Surg, or acute-care experience preferred. Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and clinical assessment skills. Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills. BLS and ACLS certification as applicable.
