Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Provide expert patient care in a telemetry nursing role, ensuring continuous monitoring and timely interventions for individuals with complex cardiac conditions. This contract position offers the chance to contribute meaningfully in a supportive clinical environment, working alongside a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in a Telemetry or RN-Tele unit Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and interpretation of EKG rhythms Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced settings and respond effectively during emergencies
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs, promptly identifying changes Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to produce and adjust personalized care plans Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families Facilitate safe discharge planning or transfers as needed This assignment allows for professional development and the opportunity to deeply impact patient outcomes in an acute care setting.
