About the Position Casselman Healthcare & Rehabilitation is looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses who are passionate about providing quality nursing care and enhancing the lives of our residents. As a PRN RN, you will provide clinical leadership and direct resident care while working closely with physicians, LPNs, CNAs and the interdisciplinary care team. RN Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents. Administer medications, treatments and IV therapy according to physician orders and facility policies. Monitor resident conditions, recognize changes in health status and respond appropriately. Coordinate resident care with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists and the interdisciplinary care team. Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs to promote quality resident care. Complete accurate and timely documentation of assessments, care provided and resident responses. Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges and care planning. Educate residents and their families regarding medical conditions, treatments and care plans. Promote a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents. Serve as charge nurse and provide leadership to the nursing team as assigned. Maintain compliance with federal, state and facility regulations and standards of nursing practice. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
