Job Description

School Nurse Part-Time | 10- or 12-Month | Non-Exempt $30-$33 per hour Reports to: Director of Health Services Join the Solebury Community Solebury School is seeking a caring, compassionate, and experienced School Nurse to join our Health Services Team. In our close-knit boarding and day school community, our nurses do more than provide medical care-they become trusted adults, familiar faces, and an important source of support for our students. The School Nurse provides health care to students, faculty, and staff while creating a welcoming and supportive environment in the Health Services Center. The ideal candidate enjoys working with teenagers, brings sound clinical judgment and a calm presence, and understands that sometimes a student needs more than medical attention-they need someone who will listen, reassure them, and help them feel cared for. This is a part-time position working 1-3 shifts per week , with the option of a 10- or 12-month schedule. Shifts include a mix of day, evening, and weekend hours, coordinated with the Director of Health Services. Because Solebury is a boarding school, flexibility and a willingness to work evenings and weekends are essential. Summer opportunities are also available. What We're Looking For We are looking for a nurse who is warm, dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team . Experience working with adolescents or in a school setting is preferred, as is experience with Magnus Health. Candidates must be graduates of an approved nursing program, hold a current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license, and have current CPR certification.
