1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Ambulatory Care/Operating Room position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and a PA or Compact RN license. Details Ambulatory Care unit setting Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM No weekend requirement No floating required Blocked scheduling not accommodated Uses Epic charting system Cerner charting experience preferred 1:1 patient ratio experience relevant to role Requirements Active PA or Compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required BSN required Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required 1 year of charge experience preferred, ideally in ICU, ED, or stress testing Prior travel nursing experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Trauma Level I hospital experience required Experience in ICU, Cath Lab, ED, or stress testing preferred Skilled in starting IVs, venipuncture, 12 lead EKG/ECG, vital signs, and pulse oximetry Experience with arrhythmia interpretation, cardiac arrest/CPR, and chest pain management Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a cardiology and emergency department-focused ambulatory care environment Perform medication administration including IV infusions and medication reconciliation Conduct patient assessments, health history intake, and pain assessments Complete lab draws, blood glucose monitoring, and interpretation of lab results Ceil blue scrub color required Must reside within 50 miles for local rate differential eligibility, though candidates outside this radius may be accepted at a different rate First-time travelers are welcome to apply RTO must be submitted at time of application; no time off requests accepted after submission
