Key Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications At least one year of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required Proficiency in IR procedures and related patient care Strong communication, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills Experience with complex diagnostics, sedation, and patient monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized patient care within IR suites, assisting with minimally invasive procedures Assess and monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff for coordinated care Administer medications per protocol, including conscious sedation Maintain detailed and accurate documentation Promote safety standards and ensure adherence to facility policies
