Our mission is to educate and inspire all students to excel as productive, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners. We have five operating school buildings utilizing 610,925 square feet of building space and 161.8 acres of land. The District serves over 3,000 students and 450 staff members across five schools. We are one of three school districts (Spring-Ford & Upper Perkiomen) in Montgomery County that sends students to the Western Montgomery Career and Technical Center in preparation for direct entry into the workplace or to continue on to higher education. Pottsgrove students have scored an average of 1,099 on the SAT College Entrance exam, exceeding the National Average of 1,096. Pottsgrove boasts a balanced schedule for teachers which includes planning, prep, and flexible time for teachers to reset. Pottsgrove has a niche in offering rich professional development with choices that best align with teachers' interests, enhancing teachers' abilities and skillsets in the classroom. ___________________________________________________________________________ To be considered and accepted to an internship at Pottsgrove the candidate must agree to work at an LEA located in Pennsylvania as a school nurse, school psychologist, school counselor, or school social worker for a minimum of 3 years following completion of the respective Educational Specialist Preparation Program. The successful candidate must possess clear communication skills, effective instructional talents, ability to create and monitor appropriate special education documents, and establish relationships with students, colleagues and families.

provides awards specific to each field, as detailed in the chart below. Additionally, interns must commit to work 3 years at a Pennsylvania LEA in their field upon completion of their respective Educational Specialist Preparation Program. After 3 years, the intern may be eligible to receive a commitment award.
