Job duties include:

delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. Assess resident needs, develop individual care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care. Supervise CNA, Certified Specialist/Technicians and other personnel. May supervise other Nurses, including other RNs.

Job qualifications include:

Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification. Licensed nursing staff are required to obtain their CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics Demonstrate understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern the practices within the facility Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance Demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels
