Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting student wellness at a vibrant educational setting near West Chester, PA. This contract role offers you the chance to make a real difference as a dedicated Registered Nurse in a school environment, with a flexible, part-time schedule—perfect for those seeking valuable work-life balance. Your commitment will be needed just one day per week (8 hours, 7:35am to 3:15pm), from September 21, 2026, through the end of the school year in June 2027. Your background as an RN, particularly with school nursing experience, will be highly valued. A Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential is strongly preferred and will help you stand out as an ideal candidate.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active RN license in Pennsylvania CSN credential (strongly preferred) Previous experience in school health settings or pediatric care Solid communication and organization skills Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions Compassionate and professional demeanor
Role Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive healthcare to students, including first aid, routine care, and medication administration Collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote a healthy and safe school environment Maintain accurate student health records and collaborate with parents as needed Respond to medical emergencies effectively and efficiently Educate students and staff on health management and disease prevention Perks for
