Job Description

Role Overview:
This position focuses on managing patient flow and inpatient capacity by coordinating transfers and patient placements, working closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient and appropriate care. The role involves supervising personnel, assisting with onboarding, fostering team morale, and communicating operational updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, prioritize resource allocation based on bed availability, monitor occupancy trends, and participate in policy development. Act as a communication link among departments, support staff development, and participate in emergency protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires RN licensure in PA, at least three years of experience in patient placement, and a nursing degree from a specialty training program. Strong leadership, communication, resource management, and planning skills are essential.
Work Environment & Additional Details:
Work is performed primarily in a clinical setting, emphasizing quality patient care, safety, and collaboration. The role involves full-time hours with shifts that include days and evenings, with shift differentials applicable.
