Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the home health agency, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care services. Supervise nursing staff, including nurse management and healthcare staff, to maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety. Oversee patient care activities, including assessments, care planning, and case management, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid requirements. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical outcomes, implementing best practices, and maintaining accreditation standards. Ensure healthcare compliance across all operational areas, including medical records management and documentation accuracy. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize utilization management, budgeting, and resource allocation for better patient outcomes. Skills Proven supervising experience in nursing or healthcare management roles within home health agencies or similar environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Strong background in patient care across senior care, hospice care, hospital medicine, and acute care settings. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards like HIPAA. Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement initiatives and healthcare staff management. Technical proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, productivity software, and operational tools for budgeting and utilization management.
