$90,000+ based on education and experience Healthcare Benefits | Paid Time Off Position Overview Beatty Nursing and Training Enterprises, LLC (BNT) is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Lead Case Manager / Delegating RN position providing nursing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) receiving services through Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). This position combines a traditional Case Manager/Delegating Nurse (CMDN) caseload with a broader clinical leadership role. The RN will serve as BNT's primary nursing contact for one of our contracted DDA providers, independently managing day-to-day nursing matters, coordinating care, overseeing Nursing Care Plans, and providing quality oversight of nursing services. This is a hybrid position with substantial scheduling flexibility and professional autonomy . Most work occurs Monday through Friday, although some evening visits and occasional weekend visits may be necessary based on individual and staff availability. The position involves regular travel to community-based sites throughout Harford and Baltimore Counties. Work that does not require an in-person presence may generally be completed remotely. The RN will also provide scheduled 24-hour on-call coverage for approximately one week per month. Primary Responsibilities Perform CMDN responsibilities, including required nursing assessments and 45-day visits. Coordinate nursing follow-up for health changes, hospitalizations, medication concerns, incidents, and other clinical issues. Lead the development, review, and ongoing maintenance of Nursing Care Plans (NCPs). Review medications, physician orders, MARs, appointment documentation, and other clinical records. Conduct periodic quality-assurance reviews of services provided by other BNT nurses and follow up on identified concerns. Participate in incident review, quality-improvement, and provider leadership/management meetings, providing nursing and medical guidance and contributing to clinical and operational decision-making as appropriate. Provide nursing education and individual-specific training as needed. Assist with CMT certification/renewal monitoring and related Maryland Board of Nursing processes. Maintain a smaller, secondary CMDN caseload serving individuals through at least one additional BNT-contracted provider organization, with the secondary caseload added gradually as the RN becomes established in the primary role. Provide scheduled on-call nursing coverage for approximately one week per month. During assigned on-call periods, the RN must be available by phone 24 hours per day to respond to calls, provide nursing triage and clinical direction, and coordinate appropriate follow-up. Qualifications Active Maryland RN license required. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred . Several years of professional nursing experience. CMDN experience strongly preferred, particularly within Maryland's DDA service system. Other nursing experience serving individuals with I/DD is also preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, organization, and independent decision-making skills. Ability to travel to community-based sites and independently manage a flexible schedule.
