Job Description

ComfortCare Homes of Harvey County is seeking an On-Call Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide compassionate care and support for residents in our Home Plus care facility. Our home is licensed for 12 residents , offering a unique, family-like environment.
Position Overview:
As an on-call nurse , you will primarily provide remote support to caregivers during their shifts. You will be responsible for guiding and assisting caregivers with resident care needs, answering questions, and providing medical oversight. While most responsibilities can be handled remotely, there may be times when an on-site visit is necessary , such as for resident assessments, incidents, medication management, end-of-life care, etc.
Responsibilities:
Support caregivers by providing guidance and answering medical-related questions. Perform remote oversight and ensure quality resident care. Be available on-call for urgent medical concerns. Conduct on-site visits as needed for assessments, incidents, or critical care situations. Administer medications and oversee proper medication management. Monitor residents' health conditions and provide recommendations. Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.
Qualifications:
Active LPN or RN license in the state of Kansas. Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health preferred. Ability to work independently and provide remote support . Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to medical concerns. Compassionate, reliable, and a team player. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
