Operate and troubleshoot Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for accurate medical documentation. Respond swiftly to medical emergencies by applying
CPR, AED
operation, and acute care procedures in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and trauma cases. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of medical records. Support hospital operations by participating in infection control practices, clinical interprofessional collaboration, and maintaining high standards of nursing policy compliance. Qualifications Valid State Board of Nursing license with current registration in good standing. Proven experience in Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Extensive background in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or medical-surgical units; PICU experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in urgent care settings and outpatient clinics including school clinics or post-acute care environments. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and familiarity with health regulations such as HIPAA and State Nursing Practice Acts. Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, CPR, IV insertion skills, AED operation, and Manual Handling are required. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with effective parent communication when caring for pediatric patients. Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
