Director of Nursing :

At Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Nursing , our Director of Nursing provides essential care to our residents by: Assisting the administrator in the implementation and attainment of nursing department goals and objectives. Responsible for the supervision and administration of the total nursing service program. Directing the operation and staff by delivery of nursing care and service while adhering to all federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Coordinate programs and services under the direction and consultation of the administrator and medical director.

What You Need:

Valid Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Rhode Island or compact state At least 7 years of experience in nursing service administration and supervision as well as at least 5 years' experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred. Knowledge and demonstrated capacity for leadership skills in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing care programs which are coordinated with the total health care of residents. Knowledge of clinical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care. Ability to develop and manage staff in an environment which enhances the highest standards of nursing care. #
