Job Description
Schedule/Hours:
Shifts available: 7:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-6:30pm Call required: 1-2 nights per week (call from 6:30pm-7:00am following a regular shift) Weekend call: One weekend (Saturday 7:00am-Monday 7:00am) every 5-8 weeks Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutesQualifications:
Active Rhode Island RN license Current BLS certification Proven experience in Interventional Radiology as an RN Familiarity with both body and neuro cases, including stroke Ability to fulfill call and rapid response requirements Excellent communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skillsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care during interventional radiology procedures for both body and neuro cases Assist physicians and care teams with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient management Monitor patient status, report clinical changes, and provide timely interventions Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and post-procedure care Respond promptly to emergent cases during on-call hours, especially for acute stroke Ensure documentation is accurate and complete in accordance with health system standardsBenefits:
