9588236-02860 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a contract Registered Nurse this summer. This assignment runs from July 6th through August 6th, with shifts Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am. You'll be working with elementary-age students during their Extended School Year (ESY) program, providing essential care and assistance throughout the day. In this role, youll ride the bus with a student each morning and afternoon, ensuring their safety during transportation and while at school. The compact schedule totals 16 hours per week, averaging 4 hours per day, including the time spent on the bus to and from the program.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license required, with prior school nursing experience preferred Familiarity supporting elementary-aged students in educational settings Ability to respond calmly and effectively in routine and urgent situations Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with school staff and families Reliable transportation to meet the bus at designated locations

Responsibilities:

Ride the bus with the student to and from the school, providing oversight and support Deliver daily nursing care and attend to medical needs as required throughout the students school day Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Communicate promptly with school staff, families, and other professionals as needed Support a nurturing and safe learning environment for students This contract offers a rewarding chance to work closely with students and educators in a focused, part-time summer setting.
