Overview $5.000 sign on Bonus-Pay based on Experience We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in a full-time capacity, working the 7 AM to 3 PM shift. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, a strong commitment to patient care, and experience across diverse medical settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing comprehensive nursing services in a dynamic and supportive environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheter care following strict protocols and safety guidelines. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Point Click Care ( PCC ) to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Manage complex cases involving critical care, geriatrics, behavioral health, for populations, including dementia care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor patient responses to treatments, perform diagnostic evaluations like laboratory testing or medical imaging as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws while maintaining confidentiality of patient records. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management, discharge planning, and medication administration. Supervise nursing team members on you unit when applicable, fostering a collaborative environment aligned with nursing leadership standards. Experience Extensive background and familiarity in
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding for accurate documentation. Experience managing long-term care facilities or assisted living environments with knowledge of geriatrics and dementia care protocols. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like PCC, for efficient documentation and case management. Knowledge of policies on infection control, HIPAA compliance, and state healthcare regulations is essential.
