Internal Title Registered Nurse (Re-Announcement) Position Type Classified Faculty / Non-Faculty / Administration Non-Faculty Pay Band CLN08 Level Department Health Services Job Purpose The Campus Nurse under minimal supervision is responsible for providing health care in an ambulatory setting to students at the College of Charleston. Minimum Requirements Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of South Carolina. Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience; Preference will be given to those with college health experience. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of principles, practice, and theories of nursing. Knowledge of teaching methods applicable to nursing. Knowledge of certification requirements and standards for healthcare facilities. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully. Ability to follow detailed instructions of a technical and professional nature. Additional Comments Regarding Position Occasional after hour work and travel may be required.
