1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in an LTAC setting requiring active SC or compact license and Epic EMR experience. Details LTAC Med/Surg Tele unit setting Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Every other weekend coverage required, subject to unit needs Floating required to other units and campuses based on census needs, limited to qualified and competency-verified areas Uses Omnicell medication system Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in LTAC MS/Tele, MS, or PCU required Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required Experience with cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, ventilator management, and medication administration for critical care patients preferred Two professional references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients including medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and respiratory management Weekly orientation held every Monday along with annual compliance training Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login credentials First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant experience Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any facility in the health system to be eligible for full travel pay rate, with reduced rate options for those 90-99.9 miles away Night shift travelers in this specialty must live 50+ miles from the contracted campus, with full rate at 100+ miles and reduced rate between 50-99.9 miles; those under 50 miles are ineligible
