Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in the Operating Room. This contract role calls for a dedicated nursing professional to deliver outstanding perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. Your expertise will support effective, safe surgeries and make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year recent RN experience in the Operating Room (OR) Proficient in perioperative nursing processes, including patient assessment, preparation, and post-operative care Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills BLS and ACLS certifications (current and required) Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures Assist surgeons and surgical teams in maintaining a sterile field and handling surgical instruments Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and respond promptly to ensure safety Provide education and support to patients and families regarding procedures and recovery Accurately document care and progress in patient records Maintain compliance with all safety, ethical, and facility protocols Benefits of this
