A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Available Full-Time 12-Hour Shifts (7am-7pm) & (7pm-7am) RN = $40.00/hr base pay 2nd shift differential = $0.75/hr Overnight shift (7p-7a) premium = base pay + $4.00/hr No PRN positions available at this time Benefits for

Free Parking Job Responsibilities:

Supervises direct care of senior resident and nursing personnel on assigned shift Manages accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls. Provides direct care as necessary and completes nursing rounds

Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted RN license in Tennessee required At least 6 months' experience working in long-term care setting preferred Able to provide emotional, physical, and psychological support to senior residents Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy Ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions and attention to detail Somerfield Health Center at The Heritage at Brentwood is currently seeking full-time nurses.
