Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassion to deliver high-quality care while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, with additional responsibilities as assigned. Key Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions. Administer prescribed medications safely. Provide age-appropriate care and assist with basic self-care activities. Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans. Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care. Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical tasks. Address psychosocial needs and communicate with social services regarding hospital and post-discharge care. Practice cost-effective resource management. Prioritize patient care efficiently and promote safety by minimizing harm. Commit to lifelong learning in nursing. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Proficiency in computer literacy. RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
