1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications along with recent Epic experience. Details Busy Med Surg/Tele unit Night shift, 3x12 hours, 1845-0715 Patient ratio of 1:5 No on-call requirements May float to other MS/Tele units or low acuity ICU Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of experience required Epic charting experience within the last 18 months required Travel experience preferred Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele floor including telemetry monitoring and cardiac care Skills utilized may include IV therapy, central/PICC line management, respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, tracheostomy care), wound care, and dysrhythmia management Floating expected as part of the assignment Local candidates accepted at the same rate Candidates must be clean-shaven if fit testing is required
