Job Description

Standing Stone Care and Rehab Center in Cookeville, TN is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care to skilled nursing, rehab, and long-term care residents. The RN will complete assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor changes in condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update resident-centered care plans. The role includes supervising CNAs, documenting accurately in the medical record, and educating residents and families. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to rehab and long-term care residents Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor resident conditions Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Develop, implement, and update resident-centered care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and physicians Supervise and support CNAs and other support staff Document care, assessments, and interventions in medical records Educate residents and families on care plans and health conditions Respond to emergencies and follow clinical protocols Promote a safe, respectful, and dignified environment for residents Required Skills Medication administration Patient assessment Care planning Wound care IV therapy Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Infection control Care coordination Clinical supervision Patient and family education
