1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring scrubbing ability and 1+ years of cath lab or ICU critical care experience. Details Cardio-Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure rooms Circulating in the cath lab with 1:1 patient ratio Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Call requirement of one night per week and every third weekend Scrub color provided by facility Uses Cerner and MacLab EMR systems Availability required for July 4th weekend Requirements Active RN license (TN or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted) Must be able to scrub for procedures 1+ years of recent experience required Emergency cath lab experience preferred or ICU critical care experience considered Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide circulating nursing support in a 2-room cardiac cath lab Blocked schedules are not available, though facility will attempt to arrange occasional long weekends Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO requests must be less than 1 week Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
