Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based Med Surg nursing care to a diverse adult patient population. Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient condition. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders and hospital protocols. Document care accurately in the EHR, maintaining regulatory and facility compliance. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and case management on care plans and discharges. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions. Follow strict infection control, safety, and quality standards in all aspects of care. Float to appropriate units as needed based on facility census and skillset.
